Retail in the U.S. has struggled over the past year, with many businesses reporting significant closures. Big Lots and Party City are going out of business, and chains like Walgreens, Red Lobster, Pizza Hut, TGIFridays and 7 Eleven are closing hundreds of locations in the U.S.

A notice posted on a store window says the Hornell Plaza GameStop is “no longer accepting trades at this location” due to plans to close this month.

GameStop is continuing to shutter stores, as customers and workers from across the United States and beyond fear for its future.

It looks like a bunch more GameStop stores are closing, and there hasn't been much word from the company's management regarding the closures.
