Durant's on Central Avenue in midtown Phoenix is being sold. The legendary establishment will shut down for several months for a renovation before it reopens with new management: the Mastro family. FOX 10's Steve Nielsen has this story.

PHOENIX – Durant’s, the iconic old-school steakhouse in central Phoenix, is closing temporarily after being sold to the team behind the Valley’s Dominick’s Steakhouse, Steak 44 and Ocean 44 restaurants.

Durant's steakhouse has been bought by new owners after 75 years of business. The Phoenix restaurant near Central Avenue and Thomas Road was recently purchased by brothers Mike and Jeffrey Mastro, who operate Dominick’s Steakhouse,

The restaurant announced on its website that brothers Mike and Jeffrey Mastro, along with their father Dennis Mastro have purchased Durant’s Steakhouse.
