Airlines owned PSA Airlines protested at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport Monday demanding better pay and benefits. The flight attendants union will continue negotiations with PSA later this week in Washington,

The airline said operations will gradually restart after a deal was reached with the union, ending a strike that caused hundreds of flight cancellations and hit 500,000 customers.

Air Canada had been preparing to progressively cancel flights and shut down operations as early as Sept. 18 if a deal was not reached.
