The tour is in German, but there is an Audioguide in English. You still walk round with the tour guide and you just type the number in for each section.

I arrived there with my family at around 1 o'clock and we stayed till 5 o'clock in the afternoon. That gave us plenty of time to explore the castle on our own (kids get an amazing little book with questions and riddles and keeps them very engaged in exploring the castle), have lunch at the restaurant, take the tour of the castle, enjoy the falcons and eagles (absolutely amazing!) and take the path down the hill on foot while enjoying an ice cream (bought as a bribe before starting the walk). :)
