Not a dog owner and feel the signs need to be improved as saw a dog owner on that part of beach and was spotted by Council person and told. The beach near Porth Eirias is not for dogs as hundreds of adults and children use this beach and should be checked more regular. As another reviewer mentioned, there is plenty of space near the Toad Hall or further the other side near Old Colwyn where there are no parking charges.
Q:

A:
hi yes there is a ramp to beach. The promenade is also very wheelchair friendly.Lots of car parking on Promenade but there is a charge.

Recently the council has introduced car parking meters on the Promenade section of newly created beach by Porth Eirias, costs £4 for the day. However, if you park on the Promenade on the other side of the old Colwyn Bay pier (currently been dismantled) it is still free to park and only a few hundred yards walk, the newly created beach is there too. There are toilets and changing facilities inside Porth Eirias (free) and on the opposite side of the road (pay). Teas, coffees, sandwiches available from Porth Eirias and vending vans along the promenade. You will have a great day out.
