Yes. You will probably use mostly the yellow line to get acquainted to the city. They will provide you a map with the main attractions, the lines and where to pick the buses and the hours the buses operate. The live guides can also provide helpful information about the Subway lines and which places are best to visit on busy days. There is an aussie guide whose name I sadly forgot who was awesome and even pointed me the best places to eat! I strongly recommend the 48 hours pass, which includes a 2 hours Thames cruise to Greenwich.

Its not at your doorstep, but you can oick up the tour one tube station away. Take Victoria line from Vauxhall station one stop to Victoria station. Exit the station and then pick up the tour on its gold/yellow route either at Victoria station or Covenant Garden, would be closest. Then once you are at a transfer spot for one of their other routes you can switch route. Their route map is avaialble online to see the tour stops
