Hi Erika, Great question! At the moment, our age guidelines depend on the performances themselves - for example, our current Christmas show, Robin Hood & His Merry Men, is a family show, which means that any age can come along & watch. We would suggest, however, that any children aged below 14 should be accompanied by an adult. Hope this helps!

Hi Chas! We do have disabled access within the theatre itself. Our entrance level lift has entry and exit points to all floors in our theatre, including access to the B-Bar on ground floor and auditorium on first floor. We also have two disabled toilets available on both ground floor and first floor levels, as well as wheelchair space allocated within the seating area of the auditorium. To reserve these seats, we suggest booking in advance, though there are also more floor-level seats available. Other disabled accessibility options that we provide include welcoming guide dogs into the building and an available induction loop system for those with hearing difficulties. If you have any further access requirements for your visit, please feel free to contact our House Manager, Dan Baker, on 01752 267131 or by email on info@barbicantheatre. co. uk. Hope this has helped!
