This park is very large and offers many activities. There’s a dry camping area. There’s also a campground that has electricity and water connections with a dump station. The cactus garden was nice. …Full review by TravelingBum52

It’s a park on lake with lots of places to go boating but not much else. Not really scenic or nice to sit on water. Unless you have a ost scc CD podFull review by Vickers55

Not while we’ve been there but sounds like a fun way to visit the river.

Not the right altitude for those. Lots to the south of us down by Quartzsite or on the way to Yuma

Most of the party people are in the channel. They don't pay to stay at the park. You are good.

Where we stay was for camping. However, they do have a day area for picnic and gatherings at the north end of park.

There is definitely a possibility. Have seen coyotes in town many times. Watch your pets and don't put your hand under anything. Lots of people around so just be careful.
