SCAM ALERT! It's £28GBP (2 adults + 2 kids), but that is just the access to walk around lakes with fish. My kids were super excited to go fishing. We could not predict the disappointment though. You …Full review by Freedom55521880382

Q:
Where is an alternative place up park rather than the car park by the farm. A lot of people seem to have problems??
A:
We parked up the road a few minutes walk up the hill free and no risk of getting fined
Q:
Is this attraction dog friendly?
A:
I would imagine as long as your dog is on a lead and not disturbing the trout it would be fine x

Hi I wondered if anyone could let me know whats included in the entrance fee of £4.50? is there any fishing equipment included? Also, are you able to catch the fish and then put them back when you're finished? Not sure I would feel comfortable killing them! Thanks! Amy

Hello Amy, I visited the farm a few weeks ago and the fishing was open. I think it's only open from March til October. the entry fee of £4.50 per adult is cheap. you can have a walk around the farm take your own picnic in with you and eat it. I brought fish food too I think it was 60p for a cup and it was fun for my children they loved it. we did the fishing and unfortunately you can't put them back you do have to kill and pay for each one you catch. But there are sinks there that you can gut the fish or if you don't want to do it then one of the people whom works there can do it for you. they did have barbecues available too which are free for anyone to use you can take your own equipment for them or they sell everything there. also the equipment is included in the price so if you don't catch one you don't have to pay. it's best checking there website out or giving them a call.
Q:
What days can you fish for your own trout and is tackle provided
A:
From memory, I believe that they do provide tackle. I'm not sure when the fishing is available, though I imagine a quick phone call should provide the answer.
Q:
Can you take a small bbq ?
A:
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own BBQ. If it is not on legs please make sure it does not burn the grass . Thanks
